Following a large fire last year in the warehouse next door a contractor laid temporary cabling to restore phone services for a client.
Sadly there was a huge amount of orphaned cabling already attached to the IDF.
With a change in tennants and relocation of various services at the site there were two options : do it quickly [ugly] or do it right.
With only a minimum of extra time the IDF was fully rebuilt and documented (including installation of Mode 3 wiring for an alarm panel) with orphaned cabling removed and propper jumpering done making future service a breeze (not to mention increasinging reliability!) Plans are already underway to expand services on site.
